Tips For Oklahoma Motorcycle Rides

Thanks to Oklahoma’s hot summers and relatively mild winters, you can ride here every month of the year. If planning motorcycle rides in Oklahoma in the summer, expect the average high temperatures to get into the mid-90’s. In which case it's always best to ride with mesh-style jackets or pants, or other types of hot weather riding gear. Insulative, wind-blocking jackets and motorcycle pants are best for any winter riding in Oklahoma. Most of Oklahoma's most extreme weather such as tornadoes and heavy storms can hit from April through October. It's always a good idea to check the forecast before heading out.

What Is The Motorcycle Helmet Law In Oklahoma?

Oklahoma is not a universal helmet state. This means that helmets are not required for all motorcyclists and passengers in Oklahoma. Instead, Oklahoma requires riders and passengers only under the age of 18 to wear a helmet.
