BEARTOOTH HIGHWAY
ROUTE: US-212
DISTANCE: 137 miles
TIME: 3 hours
The entire Beartooth Hwy is an amazing byway that connects the charming communities of Red Lodge and Cooke City and serves as a western corridor to Yellowstone National Park. It’s been called “the most beautiful drive in America,” and rightly so, according to riders who have had the experience of riding here. Because of heavy snowfall at the top, the pass is usually open each year only from mid May through mid October, weather conditions permitting. The below route includes the entire Montana and Wyoming portion of this amazing motorcycle road from Red Lodge to the Northeast Entrance Station. Continue west along US-212 for further riding into Yellowstone National Park.

GOING-TO-THE-SUN ROAD
ROUTE: Going-to-the-Sun Rd
DISTANCE: 50 miles
TIME: 1.5 hours
One of the few roads in the entire country that was built just to carry people to scenery. That would describe this tremendous 50 mile mountain motorcycle road in Montana which carves through the Rocky Mountains in Glacier National Park. This two-lane road is quite narrow and winding, and features numerous hairpin turns. The road is so narrow, there are size restrictions on what vehicles can actually travel on it. (Not a problem for motorcycles!) There is stunning scenery to be seen, including massive glaciers, beautiful valleys, cascading waterfalls, towering mountains and colorful wildflowers all make this one of the greatest motorcycle roads in America!
