Kancamagus Highway

The Kancamagus Highway is one of the best motorcycle rides for those heading to Laconia Bike Week every year. The scenic road travels along NH Route 112 from Conway to Lincoln, NH. It’s a curvy road through the White Mountains, with hairpin turns and elevation changes. There’s also a few worthy overlooks to stop and check out the mountain views. The entire road is relatively short at an hour ride, but the scenic highway has a few overlooks available on NH-112 to stop and enjoy the mountain views. Also check out Bear Notch Rd, just off Route 112, which is a great little road that leads north to US-302.

Mt. Washington Auto Road

The Mt. Washington Auto Road is one of the most epic motorcycle rides in New England. Don’t underestimate this one. Despite the fact that it’s a short 7.7 miles in length, the route starts at an elevation of 1,500 ft and climbs at
an average elevation grade of 12%. So by the time you reach the top, the ride will take you up to 6,145 ft in just those short amount of miles. And as of 2025, the “Ride to the Sky” is now completely paved. Be sure to take a few

Crawford Notch Road

The Crawford Notch Rd on US-302 is a great motorcycle ride in New Hampshire for those attending Lacinia Motorcycle Week in 2025. The scenic road travels through the heart of the White Mountains, with exceptional mountain views throughout. This is wide open roadway, which allows for some full throttle riding, and there’s scenic waterfalls on the roadside as well. There’s plenty of amenities and restaurants on US-302, so if you’re looking for an easy-access road to take your motorcycle for the 2025 Laconia Motorcycle Week, Crawford Notch Road is a great option.

NH Route 153
ROUTE: NH-153
DISTANCE: 17 miles
TIME: 1 hour
NH-153 connects from the town of Conway to Wakefield, NH. The road is a great motorcycle ride because it features fun curves and elevation changes. The scenery is also great, with forests and lakeside views. Providence Lake and Crystal
Lake have beaches where you can pull off, stretch the legs and get some sun. NH Route 153 is a narrow road with tight shoulders so motorcycle riders will feel like they’re riding right beside the trees. NH-153 is a good ride for
Laconia Motorcycle Week because in the summer, the tree canopy offers shade over the pavement. NH Route 153 meets up in Conway, so it will also be close to the above-mentioned Kancamagus Hwy.
